The Amity Affliction are part of this year’s Triple Next Crop Artist. Every year they chose 30 bands they feel will be huge next year. It’s part of their Oz Music Month in November.

On November 17 they will play a bunch of Amity interviews, play their song etc all day long. Pretty sweet for a heavy band to be getting this exposure.

So the East Coast leg of the Amity tour is over now, and the show we’ve attended in Melbourne we’re absolutely amazing - kids singing along, everyone dancing, lots of drinks (at the overage show) and a band that truly has nailed their live set down. From what we’ve heard, all around the country everyone is buzzing about this tour and this band, so congrats to them for all the success.

Pretty amazing stuff. Congrats to the Amity boys for making such a great album. #26 for an Aussie band that plays heavy music is no mean feat. We couldn’t be happier!

Don’t forget the Severed Ties tour is still going, apparently all the shows so far have been crazy.
