All Time Low

Signed to Hopeless while in high school, All Time Low released its debut EP Put Up or Shut Up in 2006, which quickly lodged itself on the Billboard Charts. Put Up Or Shut Up was a breath of fresh air for the genre, winning critical acclaim from numerous outlets including the ever-popular, AbsolutePunk.net (which beamed, “Say hello to your new favorite pop-punk band”).
While it has the same loose, energetic spirit that fueled Put Up Or Shut Up, So Wrong, It’s Right reflects the tremendous musical growth All Time Low have experienced in the past few years. The band chalks it up to producer Matt Squire forcing them to step up their game. The breakthrough full-length emerged in 2007 launching the hits “Dear Maria (Count Me In)” and “Poppin’”, helping to further cement the band’s standing as pop-punk favorites.
In the midst of creating a follow-up to their highly-acclaimed debut, “So Wrong, It’s Right” the band was nominated for a 2008 mtvU Breaking Woodie award, played MTV’s highly acclaimed New Year’s Eve special, and garnered the title of Alternative Press’ 2008 Band of the Year.
For their sophomore album, “Nothing Personal” All Time Low went out of their way to stretch their songwriting muscle on the album, working with a variety of superstar producers including Butch Walker, David Bendeth, Matt Squire, and S*A*M & Sluggo. The resulting work is one that reaches to their ever-growing audience, while still maintaining every bit of story-telling charm that long-time fans have come to expect from All Time Low. Catchy songs, witty lyrics, and the band’s irresistible tongue-in-cheek personality are all present on “Nothing Personal” making it one of the most anticipated albums of 2009.
